From the time Fisher's mother realized she was pregnant, she instilled the need in her unborn child to be a strong independent woman.

The lesson hit its target. S. Lee Fisher, aka Dr. "P.," a clinical pharmacist, was born and raised in “small town” Pennsylvania. She made her 'strong woman' debut in her mid-twenties when she became the first woman in her county to pay a man support. After moving to Pittsburgh, she enjoyed a successful corporate career managing retrospective clinical programs for the PBM side of a Fortune 20 company.

Fisher began writing fiction as a means of channeling the pain and grief of her father's passing. In the process, she discovered that she enjoys the creativity of telling stories, especially when a strong woman controls the shots. Now a full-time novelist, Fisher lives on Florida's gulf coast with her husband of 38 years, Ralph. When she’s not writing or dodging hurricanes, she enjoys painting watercolors, ballroom dancing, and swimming. Becoming Olive W., Book 1 in the Women of Campbell County Series, won multiple awards in 2021 and is awaiting outcomes on several other nominations.
