I was born in a small city in South Africa. I lived in Welkom for seventeen years before moving to Pretoria and I've been living there ever since. I matriculated in Pretoria and started working in the private sector. My spare time had me working as a reservist for the South African Police Service for a few years.

I started studying Criminology but didn't complete my course. It's something I still want to finish. I mainly wrote poetry for a few years and always wanted to write a novel.

I love reading and some of my favourites are Wilbur Smith, Anne Rice, Joseph Heller, Jeffrey Deaver and Dean Koontz. I started writing this series because I wanted to write something I'd read myself. That is how the Sinclair family was born in my imagination.

The complete series consists of nine books and 'Resurrection' is the first of The Lupian Chronicles.

I am married and have two boys - who constantly tries to break me - but who I love all the same. We live in Pretoria, South Africa, more commonly known as Die Moot.
