Kathleen has wanted to be an author since she was a little girl making up songs on the swing set on an army base in Denver, Colorado. Kathleen lives in the mountains. She loves hiking, biking, kayaking, and anything outdoors.
Kathleen is a former National Parent of The Year and Mama of seven kiddos, so she knows finding books with current cultural themes that are fun to read is difficult. As a parent, she knows library and bookstore trips can turn sour quickly. It feels as if everything you pick off the shelves is- I-know-I-can’t-read-that, or full-of-curse-words, and explicit-sexual-content. Her disappointment at the literary world for not being able to produce something wholesome and moral with value and plot twists at the same time may be all too familiar to you.
Kathleen’s books are a combination of wholesome content, moral values, and unexpected plot twists. The quirky coping mechanisms of her characters are directly related to their personal experiences. Human trafficking is a recurring theme in all her fiction books.
